Hello, My name is Heather. Today is my first post on my blog!!! I thought what better day to start a new path in my life than the first day of the new year. I hope to share some of my love for primitives with you and create new friendships along the way. Let me share a little with you about myself. I worked full-time up until the week before Thanksgiving. I was told very unexpectedly that I could allow that week to be my last or work part-time (part paycheck) until the end of the year. Ofcourse I had to choose the end of the year....after all...we all need money to survive. So here it is the beginning of a new year and the beginning of a new path in life for me. Oh and in case your wondering, I worked as a caretaker for a 5 year old girl and cleaned house as well. I quit my job in the corporate world when my son was almost 2 (he is 5 now ) and was blessed with this job that allowed me to take him to work with me. When the little one I watched started school this year, my job soon came to an end. At any rate, I am a huge believer that everything happens for a reason and no need to look back. I spent all my spare time making, painting, and sewing primitives......so why not try to make a living at it!!!
I hope that soon...very soon....you start to follow my blog like I follow so many each day. I promise to share with you all the things I have learned along the way. I am a HUGE lover of thrift stores, yard sales and well junk in general!!! I would love to share with you what I find and what I transform it into. That is one of my favorite things to look at on other blogs. So many times I get so inspired by others. I will have to post pictures of my house. You would be suprised at how many things in my home were purchased at a goodwill!!!!!!
I will add pictures of some of my creations in the next couple days but until then..... Happy New Year and Happy New Beginnings!!!!
